One of my favorite songs is, “Don’t Worry, Be Happy.” The happiest people in the world are those who laugh at themselves and the world around them. They don’t take themselves or life too seriously, and have a great sense of humor about it all.
The more you laugh, the healthier you’ll be. Think about it, the opposite of having a sense of humor is being someone who takes life too seriously. When things don’t go the way you want them to, lots of stress comes your way. Try laughing it off instead of checking in to ‘Stress Hotel’.
According to experts in both the medical and psychological community, stress is a root cause of most diseases that shorten life expectancy. Happy people live longer! Living a good life means not taking it too serious and having a good sense of humor. When was the last time you had a good, deep belly laugh?
Why don’t you laugh some more (go to a comedy club, watch a funny movie), and you will be surprised how much better you feel. Your body and mind will appreciate it, as you laugh your way through a long, healthy, happy, fun filled life. On top of it, by doing this, you will live your very best life and people will love being around you!
