If you’re not careful in life, you will become too serious and miss out on all the fun. Keeping it real and having fun to me means that we keep our head in the clouds, but our feet on the ground. In order to really have fun and enjoy life we must learn to live in this moment and savor every minute. I subscribe to what Stephen Saint Vincent Benet said about living in the moment when he said; “Life is not lost by dying; life is lost minute by minute, day by day, in all the thousand small, uncaring ways.”
Francois de La Rochefoucauld explains that; “I always say to myself, what is the most important thing we can think about at this extraordinary moment.” Bernard Rapoport, Founder of AIL, said; “Living is something you do now or never, which do you?” Before long, life will pass us by and if we are not careful, we will miss out on the all the excitement and fun we should be having while we are alive.
All you have is today, not yesterday or tomorrow. So follow the advice of W. Somerset Maugham who said “The passing moment is all we can be sure to, it is only common sense to extract its utmost value from it.” Keep it real and make it fun and you will be for sure living your best life!
